Truk
Join Y-kiki Divers and your friends on the wreck diving trip
of a lifetime! Spend 7 nights on the S.S. Thorfinn diving
WWII history in the world's most famous wreck haven - Truk
Lagoon. Spectacular remains of nearly 70 coral-draped Japanese
ships and countless aircraft were condemned to watery graves
by U.S. Naval air attacks during "Operation Hailstone"
late in World War II. Now lying scattered upon the floor of
Truk's huge 40-mile diameter tropical lagoon, they are easily
accessible to all sport divers seeking maximum attractions.
Truk
consists of seven major island groups lying within the Eastern
Caroline Islands, about 617 miles southeast of Guam and 3,262
miles southwest of Hawaii. The total land mass of Truk, including
the outer islands, is approximately 77 square miles.

Yap
Next stop is Manta Ray Bay Hotel on the island of Yap. Here
you will have the opportunity to dive with these gentle creatures
that will awe you with their graceful moves and friendly nature.
This is the world's most famous home for mantas. Identifiable
by their unique underside markings, they are known by name
with the Yap Divers staff. As we take up positions around
the cleaning stations the mantas will glide in and slowly
circle while being cleaned and many times will slowly cruise
right by you as if to say hello. Excellent macro diving and
the brightly colored Mandarin fish make Yap a top dive destination.
Guam
Instead of Yap we also offer you the option of 4 nights in
Guam with 2 days of diving. For those that are time limited
or have already been to Yap, but still want to spend a few
more days in the South Pacific we have a great option to follow
Truk with more great diving.
Apres
Harbor is home to the only place known that you can dive shipwrecks
from two world wars on the same dive. The SMS Cormoran,
a German converted cruiser from WWI and the Toki Maru,
a Japanese freighter from WWII are on the bottom of the harbor
on their sides touching. There is a very interesting story
behind the Cormoran and even the Toki Maru. Your two days
of diving will offer you the opportunity to dive these unique
wrecks and some of the other well known sights around the
island of Guam.
Guam
is full of history and being an American territory you will
feel right at home. Great shopping, beautiful beaches and
gorgeous water make Guam a perfect stopping point on the way
home.
