If
you are looking for the most diving bang for your buck, this
is it! Price includes 2 1/2 days of liveaboard diving, all
meals, nonalcoholic drinks, weights and tanks.
Almost
70 miles west of Key West lay a cluster of seven coral reefs
called the Dry Tortugas. These reefs along with surrounding
shoals and waters make up Dry Tortugas National Park. Known
for its famous bird and marine life, and its legends of pirates
and sunken gold, Dry Tortugas National Park includes the largest
of the 19th century American coastal forts.
The
Ultimate Getaway is a comfortable 100' cruiser with a spacious
dining and lounge area, large shaded dive deck and dive platform,
bunking space for 20, 4 restrooms, 5 freshwater showers and
great food. Add that to a huge selection of great dive sites
and you are ready for some serious diving. We've been on this
boat before and we know how much fun it is and how good the
diving is. As many as 12 to 13 dives in 2 ½ days! How
about three dolphins swimming right into the middle of your
dive group! Or groupers that are HUGE! Schools of barracuda
and beautiful coral! All just west of the Florida Keys!

trip itinerary:
Day 1 Arrive at the marina in Ft. Myers
between 5:00 and 6:30 pm. After a boat briefing, we depart
the marina around 7:00 pm for a 12-hour overnight cruise to
the remote, pristine waters of The Dry Tortugas.
Day 2 Arrive at 7:00 am on our first
dive site. Breakfast will be served before or after our dives
based on our preference and we will continue to move to different
dive sites throughout the day. Most dive sites average between
40 and 80 feet and we can select 7-10 sites by preference.
Lunch and dinner will be worked into the dive schedules.
Day 3 We will dive a similar schedule
as Day 1 and, if we want, we can work in a visit to Ft. Jefferson
National Monument.
Day 4 We can start the morning anchored
to the Baja California, a World War II transport
ship built in 1914, now sitting in 114 feet of water off Naples.
The next dive can be on an Air Force relay tower after which
we will head home, arriving back at the marina between 4:00
and 5:00 pm.
Day 5 Due to the late arrival, it will
be necessary to overnight in Ft. Myers and, after a good night's
sleep, you can head home.
