Why worry about what fish we eat?

Want to see more fish in the ocean? Sustainable seafood is caught using methods that support the long term supply of the species and that don't harm the environment.

FOUR FACTORS THAT AFFECT SUSTAINABILITY

• Fish population - is it healthy?
• By-catch - are animals being caught unintentionally?
• Pollution - is any being created?
• Habitats - are they being preserved?

If we continually choose fish that are not being sustained, there won't be any left to catch, eat, or see in the ocean!
