You know the saying, “If you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life!” If you are passionate about diving, going pro might be just the challenge you’re seeking. Instructor trainer & PADI Course Director, Steve Heaton, will talk about what it takes to become a PADI instructor. This presentation is open to all levels… even those just getting started. Join us to start charting YOUR path. Refreshments will be served.

Summer Camp Expo

The Summer Expo is a free summer camp fair featuring all types of camps, from sports, to arts, to sleep-away camps and lots more. It is open to everyone. Y-kiki Divers will have a booth at the fair promoting the Seal Team and junior scuba camps we offer throughout the summer. Stop by and see us!

Curious about the Boy Scout Scuba Diving Merit Badge? Unlike many other merit badges, the Scuba Diving Merit Badge requires scuba certification from a recognized training agency as one of the key components to earning the badge. Join Y-kiki’s workshop to learn all the requirements for both the Scuba Diving Merit Badge as well as the requirements and process for becoming scuba certified. Attendees DO NOT need to be scuba divers to attend the work shop. Already certified? A Scuba Merit badge counselor will be on-hand to help start or finish the Scuba merit badge process, if interested. Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP.

Spring Break Seal Team Scuba Camp
Mar. 26-30, 2018, Clayton Center offered by Y-kiki Divers

For youth ages 8 to 14 years old. In this activity-filled, pool-only camp, participants will complete five Aquamissions and earn a PADI Seal Team member card and wall certificate. All equipment is included.

Boy Scouts: Greater St. Louis Area Council Powder Horn
April 26-29, 2018

Powder Horn is an Outdoor/High Adventure resource management source designed to motivate and prepare adult and youth leaders to provide their unit with safe and correct Outdoor/High Adventure activities. Participants will get the chance to experience many different Outdoor/ High Adventure activities. Y-kiki Divers is hosting a Discover Scuba event at Parkway West High School Pool, Sunday, April 29 from Noon to 5 p.m.

PADI Open Water Instructor Development Course
Sept. 19-28, 2018, Y-kiki Creve Coeur

The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor program is your final step in the quest to become a PADI Instructor. Through the IDC program, you will complete knowledge development through self-study, quizzes, lectures and presentations; confined water skill review and assessment, workshops and presentations; open water workshops, rescue assessment and candidate presentations; and have at least 100 logged dives prior to entering a PADI Instructor Exam. During the IDC, you'll learn to use and adapt the PADI System of diver education to individual student needs. PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors may conduct a broad range of PADI programs from Discover Scuba to Divemaster.

The Gateway Hammerhead’s Monthly Meeting
Nov. 14, 2018, 7 p.m.

The Gateway Hammerheads is a local scuba diving club that hosts monthly activities along with local & international dive trips. It's a great way to meet new dive buddies and to share your diving adventures with friends. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month, at 7 p.m. at CJ Muggs, 101 W. Lockwood in Webster Groves.

 

DEMA Show
Nov. 14-17, 2018, Las Vega, Nevada

DEMA Show is the only international trade-only event for the diving, action water sports and travel industries. Please note that DEMA Show is not open to the public or consumers. You must show valid credentials to be admitted.

Dec. 1, 2018 ~ Pool Session: Help with Scuba Santa @ Parkway West High School pool

Youth scuba organization sponsored by Y-kiki Divers. Our goal with Scuba Crew is to provide junior divers with an opportunity to: dive (or learn about diving), go on local dive excursions, participate in fun-filled pool activities and to simply hang out with friends.
