Directions:
• I-270 north to I-70 east
• At about 100 miles, exit onto I-57 north in Effingham,
IL
• At about 150 miles, use exit 315 in Kankakee and turn
left
• Go south(left) at stop light onto Rte. 50
• Go 7 stop lights south to North Street, turn left (east)
• Head east for 1 1/4 miles
• Go past a row of houses, last house is blue and white
• A dive flag will be on your right (south) at the asphalt
lane
About
the Quarry:
Tina Haigh and her husband acquired the 12-acre former limestone
quarry in 1978. What started out as a family gathering place
eventually opened up as a diving quarry. A wide variety of
large platforms makes it a popular site for students, many
from Chicago.
Entrance
fee for the quarry is $20.00 per diver/$10 per non-diver for
the day.

• No pets
• No fishing or spearfishing
• No non-divers under age 12
